Pieter van Rooyen

Founder and Executive Consultant
Pieter van Rooyen holds a BCom Honors degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Pretoria. He is a seasoned HR generalist and Industrial Relations Specialist and gained his corporate experience in Local Government, the manufacturing industry and the retail industry. Pieter founded CLS in 1996 and consulted extensively in a variety of industries of the years. When you interact with Pieter you will experience empathy to help those around him, a passion to develop young professionals, an excellent sense of humor, and a library of knowledge and experience that he is always willing to share. His motto in life is “Wealth is not money, it is the ability to fully experience life" and “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God”

Illana de Wet

Head Consultant: Talent Management Industrial Psychologist
Illana is a registered Industrial Psychologist, with an MCom Industrial and Organisational Psychology degree from the University of Pretoria. She has a passion to develop people and with her strengths of Communication, Woo, Input, Context and Individualization, she makes an excellent CliftonStrenghts coach. When you interact with Illana, her presence will light up a room and with her insights, she is quick to get to the core of a problem and excellent at facilitating difficult discussions. Her motto in life is “Be the change you want to see in the world”.

Bianca van Vollenstee

Head Consultant: Human Capital
Bianca, our Head Consultant of Human Capital, holds an Honours degree in Industrial Relations from the North-West University. With extensive experience as an HR Generalist, she has a deep passion for Industrial Relations and excels at identifying and mitigating risks while implementing sustainable, effective processes. Amanda has spent the last 14 years in the world of recruitment and leadership, and let me tell you, she’s seen it all! She has a BCom Marketing Management qualification, therefore bringing a unique blend of marketing savvy and people expertise to the table. Anicia is a registered Industrial Psychologist with an MCom in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Pretoria. She has been part of our Talent Management team at CLS team since 2021. She is passionate about understanding and enhancing the culture and talent of every organisation she works with, creating an environment for success. Chinelle Olivier

HR Consultant
Chinelle graduated in 2021 and holds a BCom Degree in Human Resource Management obtained at Unisa. As an HR Consultant, she adeptly helps our clients navigate through compliance matters like Employment Equity and Skills Development. Additionally, she efficiently handles the complexities of payroll. When interacting with Chinelle, you'll notice not only her composed demeanour but also her pragmatic problem-solving approach. Industrial Psychology Intern
Esmari is busy with her MCom Industrial Psychology internship and forms an integral part of our Talent Management team. She is a hardworking and dynamic individual who is passionate about finding creative solutions to problems and setting those solutions in motion. Herman Raubenheimer

Industrial Psychology and HR Intern
Herman is currently completing his MCom Industrial Psychology degree at the University of Pretoria and is busy with his Industrial Psychology Internship in the HR team. He is an energetic individual who is part of the HR team at CLS, after starting his career in the Recruitment team. He aims to make a difference with every individual he encounters. When interacting with Herman you can expect a friendly, yet professional individual who always sees the lighter side of things. Herman’s focus leads him to be efficient and effective in completing his tasks, whilst his “grit” makes him sit with a problem until resolved. Danielle Louw

Danielle is a BCom (Hons) Industrial Psychology graduate whose passion and interest lies in building meaningful and lasting connections with people, both inside and outside of the workplace. In her current role at CLS she helps our clients find and hire the right people, like Steve Jobs said, “Hiring the best is your most important task”. Danielle’s goal is to approach every professional challenge with positivity and enthusiasm and she firmly believes in the power of teamwork and collaboration. Janu completed his B.Com Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at North-West University with distinction. As a dynamic member of our Recruitment team, he strives to make a positive impact on everyone he meets through his unique blend of data-driven insights and a human touch. Known for his friendly demeanour and ability to find humour in any situation, he is a pleasure to interact with. His commitment to efficient problem-solving ensures that he tackles every challenge head-on until it is resolved. Chene is currently pursuing her Honours Degree in BCom Human Resource Management and Labour Relations at the University of Pretoria.
